Do any of you keep a blog for your system? I have been kicking the idea around and was just wondering if anyone else already had.

Would like to but I think my wife would leave me. Already in trouble most of the time for spending to much time on "fish net" as she likes to call it.

Basically a blog is just an online diary... I have never been good about keeping a diary, though it would be interesting. I am all fire at first then I fizzle when it comes to these types of things.

Even bought the URL to do it...then just started posting here.

The interaction makes it more enjoyable, IMHO.

I agree... What you might think about doing is just starting a dedicated post maybe? IDK if thats allowed (though I dont see why not as its the same as a build thread in a way) but you could any time you want to say something just keep it in that thread.

Thank you very much for the replies. You all have valid points. I just have a lot of time on my hands here lately. There is only so much I can do to the 150 before I start changing too much, then we all know what happens after that. If I did start one it would be on a free site such as Blogspot.com or one of that nature. I may give it a try, but, just like you Sabrina, I am ready to set the world on fire at first and then I kind of fizzle in the long term on these types of things. Just a thought.

Thank you for the information Don, but Brandon's is more than just a blog. It is a full site containing mass amounts of information and discussions. I was looking at a more basic, just my systems and thoughts kind of blog.

jamie, you could set up a free blog account on blogger or wordpress. the url would be http://yoursitename.blogspot.com or http://yoursitename.wordpress.com if you went these routes. otherwise, you could purchase a domain name (about $15 per year) and use a hosting company like bluehost or hostgator. they run another $90 per year, so more cost involved but these are a much better route with more options.

as for my site, yeah, i try to cover the whole industry. i will host a aquarium build there as well, but a majority of what i talk about is industry-wide.
