what dimensions are you looking for? I've used 10g/20gtall aquariums, 5g buckets, and a recycle bin.

That’s the tricky part...
We would want to hide this behind or under the sofa so... that means it should be very narrow. But I currently have a 4-5gallon container (ugly I must say!) and it empties in less than a week. So I’d need something about 10-15g I think.
Hubby suggested a circular pvc tube or flat pvc container that we would seal. Would pvc be ok or so we absolutely need acrylic?

I just use a regular 12 gal tub. Its been working okay but I've heard they can leach. Once I have the funds I plan to get an acrylic one.

Thanks! I think I have two issues: material and size... a tub wouldn’t look great in the middle of the room I’m afraid...
I guess I can’t have it all unless I put the funds!

I believe petco had the 1$ per gallon going on. I use a 10 gallon aquarium for mine. Cant beat a 10$ ATO container.

I built a box around it and my kids use it as a stool next to the tank. Works great.

I can beat it with a $2.98 Home Depot bucket.
