I'm so sad. My Aussie Gold started to recede. I feverishly read every post online and decided to do an iodine dip to prevent further decay. It doesn't look good. My heart is broken :-( Just curious if anyone had issues with Aussie gold torches? Apparently they are known to just die with no reason. I have Indo torches, and they are all perfect.

Having them with Indo torches is most likely the culprit, especially if they are close to each other.
Mine was huge and no issues for a year until I added some Indo torches and made the mistake of setting them close to each other when I moved them to my frag tank.

I also tried to save it, with no luck. Lesson learned... Aussie + Indo = no good.

I made sure they were far away and the tentacles don't touch. It seems like a lot of people have issues with Aussie Gold. Here's how it looks like just now. I still see some flesh in middle. Crossing my fingers, but have made my peace :-(

Sorry to say, but its a goner. I feel your pain.
Make sure you remove it from your tank soon after you realize it's gone before it can impact your other torches.
