Looks like it could be a viable option.

That’s very interesting. Considering that some of the liquid is exposed, and water is a great conductor of energy, I wonder how well it can maintain an acceptable temp from top to bottom.

If those containers are not insulated I would be worried about it actually keeping the liquid cool and not causing a lot of condensation.

Even a small insulated homemade sleeve to s
Fit over the container should be enough to keep it chill so it wont spoil. I have not looked into the details but presumably it works the same passive heat exchange principle as the little fridge.
