This question is for those of you with auto water change systems. I have a detached garage about 50 feet away from where my tank is in the house. I was planning on setting my mixing station in our laundry room which is about 8 feet from the tank but my wife just decided that wasn’t going to happen. So I am forced to rethink my approach to auto water changes and mixing station placement. Is there a peristaltic pump that would handle this much of a run for both the suction and discharge?

They have max vertical lift of 25ft on suction side. So might be an option. Give them a call.

I pretty sure @TriggerFan does the same.
Of course he does. I came up with his plan haha!

@steveb the stenner he is planning to use runs at 25psi, which translates to 57.75 feet of head pressure. Plenty enough power to push from decent heights and long distances. However, there is a little bit of calibration involved in the process.

Ummm.. planning? I’ve probably changed at least 500g with it if not more.

Yes, Cody was the mastermind behind my project. FYI - There is a 112ft run from the reservoir tank in the garage to the sump and another 112ft run back from the sump to the AC duct.
I also have a single head Stenner pump (another 112 ft) that brings water from RO reservoir tank to the ATO. I run all of this through the Apex on a schedule.
