So my RedSea 525XL (139 g 5' long) has been up for 5 weeks now. Started out with turbo start then added four very small clowns the second day. Turbo start worked great, ammonia barely spiked and Nitrites came down to 0 after four weeks. Currently Aquarium Design Group is servicing my tank every other week for water changes etc. Though I have been getting most of my livestock from Dennis at FJW. I freaking go every weekend and can't help but spend money. I did not add any additional fish between weeks 1 and 4 but finally on week 5 I added a purple tang. I have some zoas, one leather, and one duncan in the tank and they are doing great. But now that I want to branch out in search of a larger variety of fish, does anyone else recommend another store other than FJW that is of similar quality. Don't worry I will not add any other fish for a few more weeks to let my system catch up to the addition of the tang.

Your tank is flying along, remember to pace yourself on the hobby. Everything good takes time, everything bad happens in moments.

I'm partial to Ocean Life Aquarium (another MARSH Sponsor). Nick the owner is a great guy and very upfront with people. If it's not a fit for your tank he won't try and sell it to you.

Thank Tenny, I took a look at their website and the store looks legitimate. Maybe I will swing by this weekend just to peek at his stock. I will not be adding fish for another 4-5 weeks. But I have just been adding a little zoa frag each week and that seems to satisfy my urge.

I am sure they all are haha. But if anyone can give me their top 3-4 I would greatly appreciate it. So far I have FJW and Ocean Life.

OLA/FJW and That Aquarium place would be my top 3.
If you want something in particular that the LFS does not carry you can always order online. I have had good luck with Live aquaria even since Disney i mean petco bought them out. I have heard nothing but good reviews about NY aquatics however they are across the country and shipping could be a bit rougher?

I visited Galactic Coral/Urban Aquatics a few months back before I had my tank. The owner seemed really nice and he has some nice corals and nems. Any feedback on them? You can PM me if you do not want to post publicly. I really appreciate all of the input yall.

David is a great guy. He’s also does probably the most service work in the hobby as well. If you need something done, then he’s the guy to call.

Yes he told me as much and I may go with him down the line if things dont work out with ADG. Though Mike at ADG has been great so far. His install team was very professional.

ADG services our 450g office tank and they do an amazing job.
OLA is a nice fish store, definitely worth a visit if you haven't been.

I got to OceanLife most frequently. Started visiting FJW and they're nice.

I went to Infinity Fish recently and they had really nice livestock with all the dates listed when they were brought to their store.

I used to go to FishGallery when I was in freshwater ...
