Does anyone have any suggestions to ‘best’ long gloves to reach in tank? I stick my hands and arms in my DT more than I should.

I've been using these for about 6 years now. They are thick but I've gotten used to them and that makes them pretty durable. Using gloves is a must when you bite your nails so short, the salt hurts when the water evaporates. Gloves are a must. Get some long tweezers for hard to reach spots. You can also easily poison your tank accidentally without gloves.

Do you have good dexterity with those gloves? Like be able to pick up a frag plug with no difficulty?

Dexterity is not the greatest, but grabbing a frag plug is definitely doable.
I purchased them to cut down on paper towels and the amount of times I wash my hand.

I just use a 9mil black nitrile gloves and wrap a thick rubber band around my wrist a couple times. Most of the time this works really well keeping the water out of the glove and protects from the dreaded superglue fingers.

I got these and I love them. Does the job, offers pretty decent dexterity (unless you’re trying to pick up tiny frag discs, quality is good so far, and cheap.

Also have long tongs that are plastic coated, as well as extended length turkey baster.

Having all this now it just seems so not right sticking my hands in anymore.

I also bought these after seeing your thread. Indeed, love them. Now I need to get some quality long tongs.

I decided against gloves and just bought a grabber. Should be here tomorrow. Let's see how I like it.

Can you show a picture/link to these? I'm interested.

It’s the black one with red tips. My last pair was stainless steel and rusted so I chucked it and got this. Tried looking for another one online but couldn’t find them anywhere.

Give them to me. @Gregg will mow your lawn for the duration of the summer in exchange.
