Bullitt says we don't post enough in this forum. So here I go!
This is a Red Sea Reefer 750 that I purchased from TriggerFan last weekend. I also received the sand that he had in the tank for the last 4 months. I have had it running for about 6 days.
I am about 5 months into this reefing hobby so I am sure mistakes will be made. Feel free to give me any tips along this journey.
Right now it is stocked with a Naso tang, 2 Banggai Cardinalfish, and 2 Gold x Lightning Maroon Clownfish.
I am using all CarribSea Life Rock arches.
I will be running a refugium in the sump. I will be receiving my order from Pod Your Reef this week. It will include some chaeto, copepods, and phytoplankton.
The lights are an Aquatic Life 48" dimmable T5 with 3 Kessil A360x. I know the 48" is not ideal for a 6' tank but it is what I have at the moment. I honestly didn't expect to purchase a tank this large when I was stocking up on items for my "future build". But it seems to light the tank fairly well.
The return pump is a Jebao DCP-1800 and the skimmer is a Reef Octopus Classic 202-S.
I will really make an effort to keep this updated with all progress on this tank.
