Can anyone help me identify what this black slime is? I've added chemi-clean, already had a bit of cyano to get rid of. It doesn't look like cyano and no matter how much I google or how I word it, it doesn't show any results that match.

Turns out it's Dinos.
How do you figure? Keep in mind that every tank always has dinoflagellates in it, especially considering that your corals do too. Same as the common cold, it’s always around but depends on whether your tank expresses it or not.

I treated for the other possible issues it might be. I already had a little red cyano so I was treating with chemi-clean. Red cyano is disappearing and not this. So I purchased a microscope to look deeper. Ostreopsis. Confirmed this on Mack's page on Facebook. Very knowledgeable guys. So I siphoned, turned my light time down, raised my phosphates. Seems to be making a dent.
