Wow... you’d figure with a grocery store in your parking lot it would’ve been handled a little better. That sucks... I’m sorry
What part of town are you in?You would think.. I sure do.

Dang how are the tanks, and the Aston? Any ceiling damage? My water provider still hasn't lifted the boil water notice. Unfortunately it's semi-moot for me. The outside leak was just the PVC elbow to the swimming pool ATO, so I disconnected that and replaced it temporarily with a screw-in faucet just to block the hole. I did a red-neck repair of the leak in the attic with an automotive hose and some clamps, only to find the same pipe has another leak further down, right in the corner where it's hardest to get to. I didn't have it in me to try repairing that one today - this old body can only take so much attic crawling. I also discovered the valve that shuts off the water within the house no longer seems to work properly, because the new leak did not seem to slow down at all after closing it.
Your right, I was referring to us poor folk in da hood.

Time to repipe the house with pexThe tanks, cars, and ceilings are fine. The second leak was still over the master bedroom closet, and I got the water off before any real damage. I am getting very concerned about where other leaks might be hiding, because the direction the pipe is heading could put it over my office, which is all wood and has a lot of non-water-friendly stuff, or over a grandfather clock that has been in my family for 114 years.
I’d check with a plumber and see if any after effects can occur.??The tanks, cars, and ceilings are fine. I hear Pex is good stuff for houses. Apparently it doesn’t break easy.Time to repipe the house with pex
It flexes which also makes installation easier to run through walls. Almost all new homes are built with pex nowI hear Pex is good stuff for houses. Apparently it doesn’t break easy.
