Has anyone locally been successful at these? I think there are two types in the trade: longhorn cowfish and cube spotted box fish. The cowfish is will get much larger fast, so leaning towards the more manageable cube boxfish. Not much information out there on these cute creatures. Looking for hardiness and how well it does in a higher flow tank. There was one youtube video that I saw with one in a higher flow tank, but any locals? I saw it once for sale at FishGallery 5+ years ago, but haven't seen them since.

I'm sure you already know this, but they have a potent toxin that can kill every fish in the tank if they die or get stressed out, so be careful of tankmates.

I have never tried one, but I get the impression they would not be very happy in a high flow tank.

I believe I’ve seen them from time to time at TAP. Agree that they are cute 🥰

I've read about the toxin risk, but in the same vein have not read anyone has wiped out a tank from one of these guys. This is probably the biggest deterrent and probably why we don't see more tanks with them. Hence the inquiry for anyone has cared for one.
