One of my anemone killed a head of a torch. I sacrificed that head to save the other three. This morning I noticed it spreading to another head. I immediately dipped in iodine and used a turkey baster to blow off the brown jelly disease in a dipping container. I've done this three times already .

Does anyone have any experience beating brown jelly disease?

The only time I saved a torch with JBD was using Melafix and Lugol. (Lugol = Iodine)
Still, I was told it is not a guarantee, but the sooner you notice and treat, the better the chances.

I caught it when it first happened. I immediately took it out and cut the head. I was very carefully none of the jelly floated in the tank. I didn't want to stress the other heads since I didn't see the jelly spread. In hindsight, I should have dipped in iodine anyways. I did three iodine dips every few hours today. I just completed a dip in chemiclean for safe measure and put it in a separate tank. Hoping for the best now. Just curious who else has successfully save a colony.

The only luck I've ever had was to be proactive and cut it as soon as you think it might be infected. Once it spreads to the next head, that one is a goner too. If you've only got 3-4 heads, you have nothing to lose by trying to dip it. I had a torch with about 200 heads and I had to be proactive and cut out not only an infected head but a few around it as well. Kind of like cutting out cancer.
