I finally joined marsh this year before i was just a guest as Jeramirez85 but now that im a member i decided to go with another name that shows one the the things i enjoy doing which is surfing. I surf most of the time in galveston and when the waves are good down there its usually brown water that im surfing in. well anyways i got this beauty of a tank from BILLY0382 (josh) at first he wasnt going to sell but then gave me achance to get it so i did. So after two trips to conroe down to beltway 8 and 45s its sitting in my livingroom. tank measures 8'-3'-21" Also got a reeflo hammerhead from theboober which ill be using for the closed loop. Im waiting on a sump made by minh at BAA which is just a 125g baffled out which hopefully i will get on sunday the 4th. Once i get that hopefully ill get water in it soon heres some pics of the tank sitting in my livingroom. Yea takes up most of my wall pretty big tank!

yea we dont even get close to the big waves like in PR or the water quality every so often i go out and its blue green at galveston but thats about it also surfside has some pretty decent waves sometimes..and the water is usually blue green most of the time.. but yea hitting matagorda to south padre is pretty clean water and south padre is a fun spot to hit the waves lol plus its better off having a longboard down here also have an old 7'6" rusty

hey karlo i saw a few of my buddies tanker surf a few times i never tried it out though maybe this summer ill try it ok well after a long time of waiting the tank finally has water rock and sand it took me awhile to setup because we remodeled the livingroom so we had to do that first before i added water because of course its easier to move the tank around for the remodel. Added the water last weeked and the rocks and sand that same period and did the lighting this past weekend which im still not done  the canopy was too big(bad measurements)lol just need to trim it down and its going be hanging over the tank when its done. Heres some updated pictures what i have done so far let me know if i did good in the aquasacape or if i need to add or move some rocks around
