Bubble trap (1 Viewer)

Looking for a professional looking bubble trap. Imagine an two sided, up side down overflow. Teeth at btm of sump.

It's kinda a grey area or question, I tried DIY first, just wasn't clean enough for my taste. So I'm looking for someone to do one for me. One bend sections of teeth ez job. Referral would be great via pm.

Interesting idea. I know some people insert and elbow with opening facing down to prevent intake of bubbles to the pump. I see it as a superfulous add on. But will the inverted overflow work? I would think over time air would build up in the top of the overflow. Thus air will eventually mix with water as it is sucked into the pump creating micro bubbles. This could be fixed by drilling a small hole on top of what would be the bottom before being inverted thus allowing air to escape. I know glassholes.com sells side mounted overflows that would work. You would have to get a street L that is not drilled. Check it out. Keep me updated. I love this idea.

It's an old concept
Marc was the first person I saw it from. Its at the very begining of your sump. Maybe I didn't describe it well enough.

People use an elbow on pump suctions to allow a lower sump level or police microbubbles ou can suck the very lowest levels, traditionally this helps micro bubble problems on your return pump as micro bubbles typically stay in the mid to high water levels (if you are baffled well.

Yes that's the theory check out Marc's link. I think nomenclature is gettin in our way.

It's just a custom made version of that. I'm not fond of socks in the sump.
