Hi, my name is Jason Robertson. Im in the process of trying to organize a reefing group for all of us way south of Houston. Nothing really seperate of MARSH, but a grouping of locals from the Lake Jackson, Angleton, Freeport and surrounding areas. I know its long drives for all of us just to get basics like RODI water, decent equipment, and so on. All im doing is guaging interest in the formation of a group to do local tank tours, some livestock and frag swapping, cuss and discuss sessions, and to maybe do some group coral and livestock ordering to take advantage of free shipping. My job is an on call job and allows me to be able to take those 930 am must sign deliveries, where as most would have to take a day off work. Every little bit helps. So if your interested in doing something like this please let me know. You can pm me with your information and once i get a decent group togather we can hold a meet and greet at my place totry and see just how we wanna organize this venture. Happy reefing. :)

meyer...most events, meetings, swaps, livestock pick ups, ect. ect. would be in this area....but if you would rather drive here than go into houston, i would say your more than welcome. just pm me your information so i can get some sort of list going. thanks. ill keep you updated.

This would be neat if you do get a group going as kinda a sub set here, so that if you want to organize your own tank tours etc. Those of us that are willing to drive could still come.

absolutly..... i believe that there is quite a contingent of saltwater aquarium enthusiasts in the area, i just think it will take getting the word out about building a group to make it happen. i just dont believe that it is myself and 3 or 4 others in this area are the only ones reefing. i think it could be a pretty lare group actually.

blueproline, do you know any fellow reefers from our area? This is a great idea. I hope this works. I would be nice to have a local tank tour.

right now the tally is at six definates in a half a day, and the list is growing rather quickly for the only word being on Marsh and by mouth. Im gonna get some adds up at the sea center and local pet stores this weekend and possiably try to hold a get to know everyone meeting as early as next week some time. ill keep everyone updated as far as possiable meeting dates. IT LOOKS LIKE ITS GONNA BE A GO EVERYBODY!!!!!!! 8)
