Never mix acids with oxidizers not a good combination. Oxidizers with caustic no problem.

man.. I get what your saying and Im sure its true... I have been using vinegar for almost 20 years and have pumps etc. (see MJ1200 etc) that still run and have zero indication of breakage. not something Im going to spend a lot of time worrying about but that's just me.

and yes.. ffs dont ever mix muratic acid and bleach.. if you're using muratic acid, you should know better.

I've always used vinegar too, but figured I'd try citric acid... can't hurt and us reefin' folk like to spend $ on new-fangled ways of doing things 😁
