In any one has had success keeping a Carnation Strawberry Coral- What worked? Thank you. Posting a picture but it is closed at this moment. Feeding it Reef Rods, Zooplanktos-M BY Brightwell and Phyco Pure by Green water.

I have never tried them due to the general difficulty of keeping non-photosynthetic corals alive, but they sure are pretty. My guess is the foods you are using should be good.

Good luck and please keep us posted on how this does.

Impossible to keep... even the experts stay away. Success rate is EXTREMELY low. The foods you are using are good BUT you have to keep a CONSTANT supply of food in the tank... which will cloud the water, and more than likely kill everything else in there due to the over saturation of nutrients. Unfortunately, it’s best to leave these pretty little guys in their natural environments. Best of luck, though, and def keep us posted on your progress... it sure is nice to look at!

Agreed with PicassoClown and checking out dr dendro... def good info! Azoox is a great food source for these... however, carnations are a different beast than other nps corals... they actually start consuming their own tissue if the foods not constant and quite literally eat themselves alive 😬
