That's disappointing. I was just saying the other day I wanted to stop by and see how it turned out since the new owner. Oh well.

Disappointed with prices or just the customer service?
I have seen things improve overall, from it being cleaner to offering more selection. Sure the coral prices are higher in some cases but you just need to ask for a better deal.

My son and I just went. They do have a pretty big and nice selection of non-SPS corals. Pretty nice frag tanks.

What I found odd was, most of their tanks were actinic light heavy to show the pop of the corals. I don't know how healthy this is for the corals. I've had store owners/salesman change their lighting to show off the corals but their lighting usually followed a natural day cycle.

They do have a lot of supplies, prices alright.

But I think their name says it all City Pets, a pet store. There is nothing wrong with that. Their rabbits were cool.

IMO they are a "Jack of all trades, Master of none."

P.S. My son did like their fish selection.
