Man, that made me nervous and it wasn’t even my tank. Glad you got that resolved for now.

So I have to ask, was this a second hand resealed tank? Or was this just a legit failure from a brand name tank?

I’m sort of casting a wide net before I do anything this week.

I have a 210G aqueon with overflows in my garage. Been empty for a year, was up I think 4 years before that. Minor scratches on the front bottom that you have to be up close to see. Dave of Galatic coral moved it here when I bought my house. Been meaning to sell it, but covid. I also have a stand an canopy for it and some lights. Looks like latest video I have is a year before I tore it down to move. Was a bit too busy to think to get a new vid. before teardown

I have a 120g Oceanic Reef Ready tank with 2 internal overflows with 2 holes drilled for each overflow. It was used for 3 years and then I bought it off of a buddy. It has sat in my garage since 2015. I don't have a stand I can sell you though. The stand I bought from him was oversized and the plan is to use the stand for a 180g. I live in Seabrook and I'm super close to you if you chose to go this route.

The tank needs to be cleaned and since you're dealing with an emergency, let's say $200?

So, what did you end up doing? And how are things going? Definitely PM or text me if you need any help.

Thank you. It means a lot.

I’m kicking the decision around. Leaning towards going new because I’ve never owned a new aquarium....

Red Sea is the quickest in that regard. 750 xxl ish

There’s gonna be quite a nice furniture grade stand on the market soon lol.

A few notes from the aftermath.

Someone suggested on another forum that the freeze and the 20 degree delta the tank went through may have contributed to this. I think the tank was a piece of crap but it’s thought provoking at least.

My prize clown fish may be crapping out. I kept my rare clowns in my sump and sent the rest to galactic’s acro tank. I did some water changes today but it may not be enough.

Crystal Dynamic is a dark horse in the new tank search. The realities of the prices are hitting home tho. $3-4k outta nowhere isn’t a breeze for me anyway.

Fighting back that quitting feeling.
