The guy showed his leadership tonight. Without his center shooting 5 for 5 from the three point line, it would have been a blow out. He is no LeBron and any clout he gets was proven to be unfounded tonight. He lost what almost no other team with a lead like that ever managed to lose.

I will say I don't agree with his unanimous MVP win for the regular season or what I consider his disrespect for the game and his opponent, running away after a shot before it even goes in... but I will say the regular season version of him before he tweaked his knee was downright impressive.

I'm not trying to give him an excuse for his pedestrian play in the playoffs but for those that only tuned into the playoffs, you should have seen the guy in the regular season. Ridiculous.

Honestly, I agree he's overhyped and I always thought Thompson was a better player overall. Let's just say in a pickup game, I would pick Thompson on my team before Curry as he'll get me rebounds and awesome defense as well as a ton of points.

When was the last time someone has led the NBA in atleast 4 categories and broke a few records in the same season and didn't win MVP? Not a Curry or Lebron fanboy but he won season MVP hands down. No hype needed. "Best" player in league=No. Outplayed by Irving=Yes. Series MVP=No. All opinions. Stats aren't really debatable.

No big 2 or 3 in GS. I give credit where it's due, strictly going by lineups, who would've knew?

I'm not debating his regular season MVP, he truly deserves that one. I don't agree it should have been the only unanimous vote in NBA history though but alas, they didn't ask for my vote. Haha.

I agree with your assessment of his playoff performance too. I will forgive him for being off because he sat for 1.5 weeks after tweaking the knee. I play basketball a ton and just losing that little time definitely throws off your rhythm, especially playing at his level.

I hear ya man. Just funny how you can be discredited overnight. Seem to recall last year's finals when Lebron was riding solo. Same scenerio. Almost swept. Yep, he's no "Lebron". Smh

Yeah, if you only watched Curry during the playoffs, you really missed out on his amazing year. I still would pick Thompson in a pick up game though. Lol.

It was a 4-2 series...Curry has had, what, 2 elite years? Is he a good plyer, yes. On Lebron's level...not even close. James has carried teams to the championship round. He's been 6 times in a row. What happened to Cleveland after he left? The Heat made the playoffs but we're never a threat to make any real noise. Just my personal opinion, I'd rather have Thompson. He's probably the best 2 guard in the league and he plays solid defense.

Lebron is only 50% playing with a big 3. And 0% riding solo. Winning the East is not saying much when you've basically had 3 all stars 6 out of 6 seasons. The West would eat his lunch. He wouldn't carry any West team without a big 3 like Kobe and Duncan have. He would've never made the finals out there and he knows it. You won't see him again with a team like 06-07 Cavs. He's only going big 3 baby.
