Came home from work today to a dead 6 line in my rocks. Not sure how it died. It always came out and ate when I fed the tank and grazed the rocks constantly. I added a small purple tang last night but not sure if that's who to blame. The last time (3-16-21) I checked my parameters they were fine. Probably gonna check them again tonight or tomorrow afternoon once I get home from work. I guess what I'm getting at is has anyone seen aggression from a purple tang spread to none tang species? In the picture is the 6 line, the other side of the fish showed no trauma. This side however looked to have a few scuffs. Not sure if it's from bumping rocks after it died or what. Also a picture of my parameters, tested with salifert kits.

I'm so sorry! My kole tang has started picking on blennies since I added a foxface... So, yes, tangs can bully other types of fish. Is the purple bothering anyone else? (assuming he bothered the wrasse)

I haven't seen it picking on anyone. When I added it my Tomini immediately came to investigate and they flared at each other then I turned the lights out and I didn't see any aggression after that.

Maybe the tomini took his territorial frustration out on the wrasse? Seems odd it would end up dead so quickly... My wrasse is a typical "wrasse-hole" and is usually the one to chase others around.
Again, sorry for your loss. :(

my yellow coriss wrasse has some lesions on its sides today. Purple and Tominni seem to be prime suspects.

6 lines are 1 tough fish didnt think anything could take them out
I agree with David here and think it was probably something internal with the fish. Plus, we don’t always know how old these suckers are, and sometimes animals die earlier than others for different reasons.

Having said that, purple tangs are territorial bullies.

I have been in the hobby a long time. There are really only 3 fish from my experiences I would never get again because of bullying. Domino Damsels...Lemon Peal Damsel ...I have one now and if I could catch him I could sell.him for 20 C dollars ...I had a buyer.. I do not want to rip my tank apart to get him...They are really bad for newly introduced fish.....and all triggers. Sorry for your loss.

What's the 3rd?

Tangs should added last to home aquaria as they will become the true aggressors
