So who here refills their own Di Resin? What do you use? I'm tired of constantly replacing my DI cartridge so I'm finally going to fill my own.

But There are so many brands out there... and types...

I do want a color change resin, so I will know when to start watching for an increase in TDS.

thx

I just use the basic mixed resin from BRS. I have used the color changing, but I haven't found it to be very accurate. Sometimes the color would change but I would still get 0 TDS for a long time, and the most recent time I was getting 2 TDS even though most of the resin was still blue.

Been doing some looking around and see decent reviews of the BRS stuff but I see some AquaticLife on Amazon (the devil) with pretty good reviews as well. Plus I can buy bulk.

I only buy the one use packages from BRS. I bought in bulk once and if you don’t get a good seal back on the bag it degrades like after 50g of water it’s toast. Now I use the 7 stage with the 3 stages of resin and just use the single pouch refill kits

I was wondering about that. I go through a new cartridge every 2 months (hard water at the office). So I was gonna buy bulk, to save money.... but don't want it going to waste. I guess I could use my vacuum sealer to close it up.

Yeah I ordered the larger quantity from BRS assuming it was just multiple of the single use sealed ones. I wasn't.
