I'm in need of some advice on where to get formalin and other treatments for this disease. I lost most of my livestock and was treating with Furan 2. The last remaining fish were looking good in the QT and now I see the Scopas Tang has come down with it.
First losses were 3/13
QT all on 3/14
Last loss was 3/18
Dosed Furan 2 till 3/20

Those guys look bad. Look up Chloroquine phosphate on here. There was a thread going about treating fish with it for brook, ich, etc. If it will work, I have some I would sell you. Let me know. eight three two-473-4380.

^^ CP is your best bet right now. However, I would also perform a FW dip, and either an acriflavine (ex. Ruby Reef Rally) or formalin bath on all survivors. Your fish need immediate relief before CP can work it's magic.

Spoke with another reefer using CP and it's not working well for him. I'm going to do the FW dip and setup a whole hospital with ten gallons. Wife isn't going to be happy but I need these guys to make it.

Setting up a hospital tank is a start but you need to treat them with something IMMEDIATELY. What do you plan on treating them with?

Oh, I'm sorry. None of these guys made it. Those were pics of when it hit and me trying to treat with just Furan2. The others were good until I did a big water change and the Scopas broke out like the Naso. Lost a chromis the day after water change too. I've gotten all the fish moved to ten gallons and have been doing FW dip every two days. Tens have Prazipro and Furan2 dosed. Scopas looks better today but we will see.

Well the Scopas is looking better today. I think it will make it now. I just want to stress that putting your clean up crew in QT could be a life saver. The new snails were the last thing I added after all the fish were established and I dumped them straight in the tank. Turns out they were dead and I didn't realize it.

Before I put everyone in the ten gallons I had them in the 72 and was dosing Furan 2. I had a few corals and nems in the tank and they look crazy now.
Before they looked like this:

After the Furan 2 they look like this:

Any ideas if they will stay or change back?

Oh man, I feel your pain. We have all been there at one time or another. If you need more than a 10 gal for treatment let me know. I have a 20 gal acrylic tank you can borrow with a heater, powerhead, and airstone. It has a little HOB filter but you won't have time for that...
