I’m tired of using acid to lower my Alkalinity. It’s dangerous and can cause irreversible lung damage.

After hearing some good reports about this Seachem product I figured I’d give it a try.

It easily drops Alkalinity and may be good for cleaning power-heads too. I’ll let you guys know if it works well.

Probably using IO And wants to bring down alk from ~ 11dkh to what we he wants his tank at. At least that’s what I do :) 15ml to 40g in my brute gets me to 8dkh roughly.

Just get a daily water change system and forget about it ;)

Every salt I like has higher ALK. I match Alk exactly when I do water changes. :)

But...after Cody sets up my Auto WC system...I’ll never have to worry anymore. :boom::lol_hitting:

I match po4 and no3 as well. Can’t have them dropping after my dos changes water.

Which alk level are you looking? And which salt are you using?
I changed 10 gallons every weekend and with TMP I don't have to worry about alk change in my tank.

I was using regular IO, switched to Fritz, and now back to IO Reef Crystals which has high ALK. Been running my ALK about 8.5, I’m good between 8-9.
