ok so im going to try one last time with shrimp and drip acclimate them and i need to build one but ive hit a wall when i look at lowes for drip nozzles i see so many and different types does anyone know what specific type is needed or do all work
all im finding at places like home depot and lowes for drippers are things for hoses and can't find anything small enough that would work or that would actually work

I do it the poor man's way. Just take a piece of aquarium airline tubing and tie a loose knot in it. Once you fill it with water and get a siphon going, you can control the drip rate by tightening or loosening the knot.
Or you could bend the tube in half and put a rubber band around it, the tighter the rubber band the less flow, loosen the rubber band to increase flow...

Or you could go to fjw or city pets and buy one for under $10

If your order is large enough with Saltwater Aquarium they give you an acclimation kit. I never had one of these before but it sure makes it nice with the included valve and pre-bent stiff airline.

just use gravity 1/4" RO or airline line with an RO open/close valve barely open to a drip, rubber band works well too. honestly, i dont want to mix LFS water with mine and since i have such a small tank, tking water out for drip causes my ato to kick in and that starts diluting the tank water. so i float to acclimate temp, cut the bag drain some of the water and just grab whatever and throw it in the tank. they might spazz for a minute (or 30-40) but then do just fine.

You can also get valves from petco or lfs for airline tubing and adjust the drip rate with it after the syphon is started.
