Young lady, you are an excellent photographer and kudos to angelfish spawn. Do you kept plants in your display fresh water tanks?
Thanks!! I do keep plants but so far the angels haven’t made use of them. I just think they add a more natural vibe to the tank. The plecos are loving the plants and I’m also breeding endlers and mollies to feed my dwarf fuzzy lionfish so the plants are good for the babies. Sadly I had to sell the dwarf seahorses as the tank was not mature enough to handle to bioload associated with feeding live brine 2x or more daily and I ended up with a terrible algae bloom, cloudy water, and overall terrible conditions. So now I have a couple softies and the dwarf lion.

I also got a 2.5 gallon AIO to grow out a baby spotted drum, some pederson shrimp, a Lima shrimp, a spotted anemone shrimp, two sexy shrimps, and a pom pom crab. I also have a 20 gallon with an arc eye hawkfish and a baby French angel (there is a home lined up for the French, I’m growing it out for a friend :) )

That’s a lot of neat things to juggle. Good you have a significant partner helping. Whats your major at Tulane?

With respect to your dorm tank, the Gorgonion that I saw would benefit from more white light. Good idea to keep your dorm tank as low maintenance softie tank.

Good fortune on your career path, have a blast while you are doing it.

Great pictures. Outstanding on baby ponies and a “good dads” pouch.

You are in my old stomping grounds as I worked in offshore drilling from New Orleans office.
Check out this store in Metari: Aquatic Specialties

I will have to check this place out!

So I’m gonna change this thread to be more encompassing for all my tanks here at school. Here’s my other tank that I’ve been hiding lol. It’s basically just an observation tank to make sure they’re all eating and healthy before driving them back to their permanent home back in Houston. So far there’s a dwarf fuzzy lion, white and grey wart skin angler, and geometric eel. If anyone has experience with the geometric I’d love to hear it, I can find almost nothing online except that they stay around 2’ as adults which is a perfect size for the setup he’s for. Anyway, it ain’t pretty but here it is :) 1F294FFC-288C-402F-A194-2D2E8F763A2D.jpeg C0B7020D-BD90-4452-BF2E-8EC1FC3239F5.jpeg E23A7CC8-6160-4E87-966D-4A7EE6BBA36F.jpeg
