One of my battery backup batteries flashing red-the red light is super dim.

The battery is 3 yrs old based on the mfg date.

Any ideas?

I believe that's the power supply. I'm sorry, I don't know why the light is dim. If it's not working you can buy a new one.

Keep in mind the batteries typically only last 3-5yrs. Moreso in the 3yr end. I’ve had to replace both my battery backup’s batteries already.

You can google it and see YouTube videos on how to replace.

Okay thanks-I'm hoping it's the power supply since the batteries are more expensive plus I got 4 of them. [emoji4]

I will try to test the batteries with the mp60 power supply to check if it's the battery or the power supply. I didn't think about that. [emoji4]

I'm glad we have a home backup up generator.

That's a lot of money to pay and these things lasting such a short time.

And I thought Neptune was milking it-ecotech is worse. At least with Neptune products I'm super happy.

It's a battery thing, commercial UPS are the same. They don't last forever. Different technolgies are better than others, but over time, all batteries wear out.
It's possible to open it & replace the battery yourself. The batteries inside are just standard things they buy from someone else.

Batteries are all over online. I just got two off brand same rating $34 shipped ea. Maybe a tad cheaper.
