30 days guaranteed on their captive grown corals? I bet there are A LOT of stipulations with that. I gave test frags away all the time and it’s not uncommon for them to completely die within a week or two, and I know a lot of folks like to push the limits on stocking tanks.I have had good luck with Live Aquaria - in fact, I just got an order from them this week. Whereas most vendors only offer an "arrive alive" guarantee, LA offers a 7 day guarantee on most items, and 30 days for their "certified captive grown corals". However, they are out of stock on a lot of items now - this was the first time I ever had difficulty coming up with $179 worth to get free shipping.
I have also ordered with good luck from Jason Fox, although, as Cody mentioned, mostly from the aftersale of one of his live sales.
I have never had to make a claim on one of their CCGC, so I'm not sure if there are any different rules. Most of the corals come under the 7-day rule. In my latest order, the two Acros I got have the 7 day guarantee, but I got a pipe organ coral with the 30-day. Sadly, I have already had to make a claim for 2 of the 6 chromis I got. For fish that are supposedly "easy", chromis are among the hardest fish to keep alive in my experience.30 days guaranteed on their captive grown corals?
