We don't have ANNIVERSARY this year. But we have our TOY DRIVE this Saturday. I just posted more Raffles get sponsors by more Vendors. We also have some super sale this Saturday to make this Event more fun. There are door prize for every one stop by and have fun with us. Food and drink. Store will be fully stock. It was a great day at TJW................ oops FJW

I hear everyone saying "Thanks Ben And Dennis" but to be honest and that's my opinion what we did was just connecting the dots, you guys who donated the toys and came out today is what this is all about in the community.
We as a simple reef community going to make a lot of kids happy.
I like to pass out a special thank you as well to Sneezebeetle (Deanna) AKA Elf "Happy Toes Bells" for promoting this toy drive as getting the word out more than I could do, also Felix and Samantha (Unlimited Color Corals) for helping Dennis in the store, you guys were amazing as I saw plenty of bags filled with awesome corals and fish going out the door.
As I mentioned today this was setup in less that two weeks and I believe we did great in all aspects.
Next year we will start sooner but we will setup a thread on FJW Facebook as well as on MARSH to layout the plans for next year, do I dream big............... maybe but ppl who know me they know also I go for the perfection first as that will pay off in results and I let others decide for where we stand.
Thanks to all who dropped toys off and congrats to the many who won some raffles and who won a LRS frozen Larry's food.................. we really didn't had banana flavors
Wish you guys a Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year.

Hi All,
Today Dennis and me dropped of the toys at one of the drop off spots from Toys for Tots.
They directed us to the Texas Children Hospital in Katy.

Chris with Unlimited Color Corals was a big help in loading all 100+ toys up on the Diesel truck.

We began the journey to TCH in Katy and when we arrived we told them we dropping some toys off.
The clerk reply was "You can leave them on the desk"........... I told her she needed a bigger desk, then she told me "we have some kind of cart the size of a target shopping cart and we could leave them in there"............. in my turn I ask her "how many carts she had", she was quiet for a minute when she replies "Just one".
My reply back was "Oh boy, we need more elfs"

Dennis and a volunteer unloading the toys on some kind of cart, we had 8 of these carts full not to mention the toys we carried in by our self.

This was a great effort by the Houston reefer community and is only promising for better and bigger next year.
I hope many if not all picked up their prices at FJW.
Dennis and me are already working on next year and sometimes soon I will ask if one of the BOD's can join us as I want to reach out to all LFS in Houston to be a drop off point.
Again I like to thank for donations FJW, MARSH, Unlimited Color Corals, EMF-H Exotic Marine Fish of Houston, PSX corals "Andre".
Many sponsors, Ecotech marine, CoralVue, LRS Larry, Fritz, Redsea, Neptune APEX, pretty sure I forgot one or two.
Of course and foremost our hobbyist from in and around Houston A BIG THANK YOU, cause without you guys coming together like you did in just a short two weeks tells me that next year I will and who ever is on my side "Dennis, Deanna" who else for next year................. do more our best for another great toy drive.
100+ toys was a great view in TJW, and for now Dennis can have his original store name back FJW.
Btw, when I was in today he had a special on a Redsea Seahorse tank, go check that out.......... the Diesel was tempting.
