Here's where I'm putting the tank, in my house. It'll be in the living room... where we all congregate. "We" being me, my better half, and two loud teenagers and their friends. I'm hoping it'll drive the kids upstairs to the gameroom, if I'm always working on the tank... One can dream! :joker:

I can't remember if I built this sump, or bought it from BigRick back in the day. Either way... it's probably too big, but will do for now (48" x 24" x 16"). I may finagle it for a refugium or something... Ultimately, I'll probably upgrade it. I'm like that Icecap 48XL.

I'm also considering do a decorative wall here. I've seen a lot of guys do this, and really like how it looked. I dunno... what do you guys think? Wall tiles/stone?

Here's a skimmer I picked up last night. It's temporary, but I couldn't pass it up. It's much bigger than it looks (30" tall). It's a SRO-XP5000-EXT, so it's a recirc. I've always preferred this type of skimmer due to their adjustability. I got it super cheap, too! Craziness! (Thanks David!)

I plan on putting it in the sump, somehow. I hope it fits. Worst case, I'll plumb stuff through the walls, as there's a closet behind the tank location.

Pardon the bad photos too... I was just using the cell.

How you gonna light this bad boy flip?

Didn’t you have an ATI dimmable for sale? I couldn’t do the SRO3000 from ya, but wanted to make up for it. [emoji16]

I think that light and some Reefbrites will get me started pretty well.

I do have several other older lights in the garage... but they are ugly. [emoji23]

Just got off the phone with Paul @ T&T. I should have my tank in two weeks! Woot! (Do people still say that?) [emoji16]

Also, my aluminum stand ships on Monday. Should have that next week. I’ll need to add the shelves to it, but I’m thinking of having some HDPE cut for those, if it isn’t too pricey...

Is Planet also making the stand? If not, make sure you send them the blueprint so you get more than just a 1 year warranty on your tank once they approve it.
