He is trying to make arrangements to be here. Definitly want him here that's why I asked what weeks people couldn't make it.
Don't know that we can change dates at this time. I could do Sunday instead of Saturday but that may effect others. LesD already
said July is bad month.

Now is the time to join the club if you haven't already. There will not only be tons of prizes for club members I personally guarantee that
every club member in attendance will go home with a frag. If you do not win in the drawing will cut you one anyway. No one looses, worth
the price of membership.

Hello,

I’m a reefer from League City interested in attending the June frag swap and becoming a MARSH member. I really enjoyed attending my first Reef Currents event this year. However, I have never participated in a frag swap…

I have a few questions:

How do frag swaps work?

Is it appropriate arrange swaps, in advance of the event, by listing the frags on the MARSH forum that I plan to bring and the species that I’m looking for (For Example: I have frags of Walt Disney Tenuis Acro that I’d like to trade for BC Bubble Bath Unicorn/PR Fruity Pebbles)? Or is the event structured differently?

I have quite a few decent frags and a couple of larger colonies available (mostly sps) but I’m not sure how many that I should bring to the event… I probably have 20-30 frags of various corals available. I think it would be cool to exchange my frags and come back home with different/equal-quality stuff!! I would just like to know how to best approach this frag swap to ensure that I don't return home with the same inventory.

Thanks in advance for any advice/insight.

Best regards,
RobbyeD

Since you are joining You bring anything you want even hardware. You can sell or swap. There will be others with as many frags are more as you have so your
bound to find some cool items yourself. You will also be fed and guaranteed to walk away with a free gift.

Just bring what youve gpt, and maybe someone will trade you or buy it. In my experience, you're more likely to sell it than to find the exact piece that you're wanting to trade for

Hi - Frag swaps are alot of fun! Bring what you have to sell or swap. Some folks work out trades/sales ahead of time and bring their items. If you've never been to David's place before your in for a real treat! There will be alot of food, socializing, pool shenanigans, raffle, corals and fish talk....and his impressive tank set up!

I think we have the tables covered. If you're bringing frags, then you're on you're probably on your own for a tank. I'm going to bring one but I'm sure I'll fill it up.

have 28 ft of table space should accommodate everyone
Hello David,

My wife Daphne & I are excited to attend the upcoming MARSH frag swap. If we could request a 3' wide space on a table and access to a 110VAC outlet (I can bring an extension cord if needed), we would be grateful!!

Thanks to everyone who provided information on how these frag swaps work and letting me know that selling is permitted. I appreciate it. Other than cash, what other payment methods are typically utilized at frag swaps? I do not have the ability to accept credit card payments unless something like PayPal could be used. To be prepared in advance of the event, if there is another payment mode that is typically used that I should setup?? Please let me know.

What time could we arrive to start setting up (30min early??)??

We do not want to pre-plan/arrange sales and swaps. However, below is a partial list of the coral frags (1 or maybe more of each) that I will be bringing:
Jason Fox Beach Bum Montipora
Jason Fox Jolt
Jason Fox After Party
Walt Disney Tenuis
Reef Raft USA Pink Floyd
The Coral Kings Pikachu OG
ORA Pearlberry
FHC Equilibrium
ORA Bird of Paradise
Tyree LE Jedi Mind Trick

Take Care,
RobbyeD

PayPal and cash are pretty much the only thing you'll need. As far as setting up, David will have to answer that one.

There will be tables and electric provided. Will also provide top off water if needed. I would say come 1 hr early if you have a large setup.
