I have been upgraded a Biocube29 from MH to a RB Photon16 recently.
The Biocube is been used mostly for Frag propagation and is running in a bypass from the Main Filtration system so not a stand alone Frag tank.
I installed the Photon 16 for testing purpose to make it easier for others to acclimate smaller Frags into their LED systems.
But I have issues with the settings.
I started at Ch 1&2 with 75% and fried a couple frags instantly within 24hours.
Then I reduced the intensity down to now Ch1-25% and Ch2-45% put in new frags and everything looks nice and beautiful with fully expanded polyps.
So the question is if anyone else has the same arrangement, what settings did you ended up with to get the most light out without frying the frags?
I will starting to increase light slowly and will watch the SPS to find a good setting but hope for some experience numbers.
Any info helps!
THX a lot.
