It’s super windy in pearland- I guess it’s coming….
Yep. Same here in spring. It started to hit us about an hour ago and it’s just going to be a continual drop to 16 degrees just before sunrise tomorrow.

Yeah, it has drastically gotten colder and windy since 4pm here in the Spring/woodlands area. All my potted plants are in the garage and the ones I care for has a blanket of some sort on it. That last freeze killed about 25 plants including a fruiting mango tree of mine.

I also lost power for about at hour from 7p to 8 p.

just now waking up 10,20 reef tanks are at 76.5 going to add a room heater to the room have all 4 heaters running in my 2 tanks and not keeping up.
I may need to buy some 1000 wt heaters but afraid of overloading a circuit

at about 8pm last night my temp on my tank started to drop and by this morning it was settled at the same temp as my house is at (74). I'm thinking my heater went out?

Heater 1&2 are 100W, 3&4 are 150W. Heater 1 has been on almost non stop, only used heater3 a few times. I do have a canopy though, so evaporation is not a big deal for me. If your heat is blasting causing a draft in the room, that is going to be warm dry air and you are going to have a lot of evaporative cooling. Make sure nothing is blowing on your tank.
