i have heard of these magical freshwater dips and i have 3 clowns suffering from ick and im currently treating them and the water but i was wondering about the safety of this practice and how much does it really help

It isn't a cure but has the ability to help provide some relief from Velvet, Brooklynella, Uronema, Flukes and Black Ich (Turbellarians).

If its Ich you can do TTM method, copper safe, CP etc.

yes my clowns are eating and even come to the surface towards me to the shacking of the pellets which i mainly feed them but also give them some frozen to help

You didn't mention your setup but they should be treated in a quarantine tank for the best results. Some medications are harmful to invertebrates like anemones and live rock will sometimes absorb medication, making it difficult to accurately dose the water.

they are separated i was setting up a 75 for my fox face and after i moved him i noticed and i did not see any marks or bumps on the fox face so the clowns are separated and im going to treat them today when i get food for my fox face and i dont have a live rock in there right now just normal old rocks (cleaned and tested for my fish )
