Hey guys,
So I decided to frag my frogspawn and the first head I clipped off is doing well. The skeleton snapped in half but I put it back together and the soft tissue was intact.
The second branch I clipped well....not only did it snap in half but somehow the head region fell apart in like 4 or 5 parts...the soft tissue was holding it together somehow. So I put it together he best I could and used super glue to keep it somehow together. It's in bad shape. The pieces didn't fit right together and the branch broke not only vertically but horizontal as well. It was one branch splitting into two heads and those two heads are about to separate into 4 and that's where it broke..right tru the middle of the heads. (Hope that makes sense)

So my question is has anybody ever had the skeleton break this badly and the frag still surviving this trauma? The frag is somewhat opening up but doesn't look really good either.

Appreciate any input on this topic.

Most likely it won't make it, but you never know :) If you can feed it a little, do so. It may have gotten too much tissue damage during the skeleton break though.

Also watch out for brown jelly disease, LPS are more susceptible with tissue damage. If the heads do start to recede and show brown jelly, keep it away from the other frogspawns as they can catch it. Probably won't happen but just keep an eye out over the next couple days :)
