I have a 55W Coral Compulsion PAR38 dimmable LED bulb with built in fans- That I need a dimmable socket for. Lol.
It’s putting out 350 Par at the waters surface and scorching my Cheato. I’d like to bump it down to 150 and maybe ramp up later after the cheato is more acclimated to the light.

Yeah I believe so, but not positive. I’m not sure they sell them anymore. Couldn’t find them when I looked last week.

I started out running a home depot bulb and while it made chaeto it was not real fast growth. For example I had to harvest chaeto once in 3 months. Broke down and bought the Kessil H380 and it made a huge difference! I was harvesting chaeto every 2-3 WEEKS! And since the LFS took chaeto as tradeins it basically paid for the light.

Good information, thanks for sharing. I've seen quite an increase in growth as well after switching from CFL to the blue/red spectrum lighting.
Do you guys grow any other macros? I got two new ones from ebay -It was $12-14 for a very tiny piece but good news it's growing at a decent rate.
