Just a brief announcement of my up-coming tank build. As some people know , I won the 90g tank raffle we had a couple of months ago at MAAST . Well I have made arrangements with Carlos at Rivercity Aquatics in Austin (who donated the prize) to upgrade this tank to a 280g. This will be a 72" x 30" x 30" peninsula with end Calfo and bottom-drilled closed loop. I will be using my current 135g for my "Sumo-sump" . This will be photo intensive, so be prepared.

So.......stay tuned.....the tanks was ordered Monday...WOOOOHOOO!

Pretty much got everything for it already except the OM 4 ways and the Barracuda pump.

I will be using a OM 4 way for the CL and one for the returns. A Dart for the CL and a Barracuda to run CR, KR, Chiller and returns.

When I started putting the 135g together, I bought everything to up-grade. I have a Ca reactor and Kalk reactor that could run most city aquariums, LOL! I'm not really joking, the Ca reactor holds 58# of media.

?? how do you upgrade from a 90g to a 280g, is it less money to do,
or is this a can be done project. I would love to see pix of this process.
