GHAC is a great group of folks. I believe they are predominately FW and Brackish. They can be found on FB, but I don't believe they have an online forum.
Never heard of this group before?????????

I went to Galveston yesterday at the jetties infront of academy and caught so many blennies like always and this one fish which I don't know what type it is. It is gray with light blue stripes and white dots and it is about 5 inches and I wanted to know if any one had an idea of what type of fish it was.

Oh yea and out of all the blennies I caught 90% of them were babies so right now would be a good time to go to the jetties infront of academy if you want some. I caught about 50 babies and 10 adult ones.

They are there all year... spring/summer is breeding season. Post a picture of the fish it sounds like a mackerel or a chub.

Ok thx. The day I went to Galveston I remember there was a dead Atlantic spadefish on one of the rocks and I'm sure someone left it there but man I sure wish it was alive so I could take it home, I really want one.

You know they get like two feet right? Hit me up the next time you go I caught three of them that night. If you want to catch them start on the outside of the rocks and find a small crack no more than about 4 inches wide drop you net to the bottom of the rocks on the inside of the crack and drag up and in. They usually hang around the top three ft. Of water. They will pick the nems and stuff off the rocks. Hope this helps!?! Hope it makes since!?! Have fun and be safe.

Sure! I might be going next weekend and would love to catch some spadefish and other things with you. What jetties do you usually go to? And what time do you catch them at?
