Are any of y'all using them? I'm looking for one that isn't terribly expensive and won't make me die from gas poisoning. Any personal experience using them?

The radiant heaters really don’t do much good in a garage unless your right by it. If you not going to leave it unattended then I’d suggest something like this... https://m.grainger.com/mobile/product/54EP09?gclid=CjwKCAiArK_fBRABEiwA0gOOc7cDaYxLhEk43QOSDx3exUjH9fZp4OfAlehevnlUh4oqIo7DjVKi6BoCenoQAvD_BwE&cm_mmc=PPC:+Google+PLA&ef_id=CjwKCAiArK_fBRABEiwA0gOOc7cDaYxLhEk43QOSDx3exUjH9fZp4OfAlehevnlUh4oqIo7DjVKi6BoCenoQAvD_BwE:G:s&s_kwcid=AL!2966!3!264922886859!!!g!438649192311!

id also consider insulting your garage door if you haven’t already.

I was thinking it was for his fish room unattended.

He has insulation in his garage doors.

Nah my fish room is fine. It hit freezing outside last night, and just with the HVAC convection in the room, the lowest was 68 degrees. Nothing the tank heaters can't keep up with.

I meant for the garage in general for while I'm working. I saw something similar to what Gregg posted but I was worried about the fumes with the insulated garage door closed.

Don't you mean Metal Halide and not LED? Metal Halide were originally invented as heaters that were repurposed as lights haha

MH even better but I’m using a large led fixture.
