I picked up this little gem today. Is it okay to treat a Gem Tang with CP?

I agree with webster1234, I think it is stress due to the Ich and Flukes. Most of the white spots from the Ich are gone today.

She is doing much better, almost all of the Ich spots are gone and she is eating like a pig. Yesterday I did the second dose of API GC. Tomorrow I plan to do a 100% water change and continue with the CP.

Can’t beat a good FW dip in the beginning. It gets a lot of fish off to a great start and prolongs horrible things from happening.

Sounds like she’s gonna be fine. I’d Keep that CP going and when finished...transfer into a sterile tank for some Observation.

She was alive and well when I left the house at 4:10 this morning. I did a 100% water change yesterday (fresh tank) and continued the CP treatment.

I have now had her in CP for 20 days. My plan is to move her to a sterile tank and give her 1 more dose of Prazipro then move her to the DT.
What do you guys think?

I would observe for two weeks. I have had fish break out with ick after spending 30 days in copper. But I'm paranoid at this point.

From what I have read Chloroquine Phosphate works better than copper. Previously I have treated fish with Chloroquine Phosphate for 2 weeks then moved them to a sterile tank for a couple of days then to the DT, of course those fish did not have Ich or at least they did not show any signs of Ich.
