Saw no one really posted about them so I thought I would being I go and bug James every week. Being almost 40 mins away from every lfs its hard for me to find time to go out to thst area where most are. I visted Global a few times when they were in Humble because my fiance lived out in Huffman. Since then they have moved to Woodlands it makes my life a lot easier. Can say they got their stuff down and are quite helpful. Fish and corals are all top notch and have a variety of goodies/supplies. If youre in the area I suggest checking them out.

I just went in there a picked up a couple fish, a couple of weeks ago. Looks super nice in there, for sure. :) He appears to be doing well, and that's awesome. Nice guy.

Might as well pile on here also!

I've been a customer of his for around 6 years now, since I moved to the Humble area in 2008. James has always had one of the cleanest stores in town, is very knowledgeable and I've always felt his prices are fair. His place isn't nearly as convenient for me now that he moved to the Woodlands, but I still go there at least once every month or two.

Well, his sister helps out sometimes. He had a guy that worked for him a couple of years ago but the guy left. He was in there the other day just for temporary help. I wouldn't imagine the other two are on the computer too much, but you never know.

Temporarily closing thread until BOD has had a chance to review and discuss. We will post a statement after review.

All,

We have been somewhat reticent about commenting on this whole event.

Most of you are aware of the circumstances involving the owner of GLA. At this point the details are still coming out and all that is known for sure is that there was an arrest, but not a conviction. After a long discussion the BOD has agreed that the best course of action for MARSH is to remain a neutral bystander and let this play out in the criminal court rather than the court of public opinion. If the accused is convicted then we will take the appropriate action as laid out in our sponsorship agreement. In the meantime we ask members to refrain from gossip and will keep the GLA forum closed.

We hope you understand and agree with our decision.

Sincerely,
MARSH BOD
