Nothing really to wrench on with an EV. I looked through my maint schedule... 7,500 mile tire rotations, cabin air filter replacement, and 150,000 mile battery coolant replacement are basically it. If you one peddle drive you are supposed to use the brakes once a week to stop at least once so they do not seize and to clear rust off.
Some EV's are getting aftermarket support for coilovers and things like that so you can still do some stuff. Otherwise, yeah, drivetrain tinkering is probably going to go away, at least for new cars. With safety features needing sensors and cameras even body work may end up being something you can't do yourself.
