The company I work for is trying to reach a billion in sales in the next 3 years so they hired this economic firm to do some forecasting.

The part that got me was they were talking about macro economics and brought up that there will me a severe depression sometimes by 2030s similar to the one in the early 1900s.
I don’t know why but I was really bummed about this. What’s you’ll opinion on this?

well based on the depression from 1900s before you buy the product you sell or convert your stocks into bonds and pull out your money from the banks in order to keep your savings before the big rush or invest your money in stuff like fish which have a stable price and like stocks go up and down based on events and since global temaptures are rising around 2030 wild fish will start dying off, therefore, making some aquarium fish more valuable.
or what I will most likely do is leave for a country like India, Switzerland, or china which will have stronger economies (India is booming and by 2030 will be like modern-day America or better, Switzerland prepares for everything, and China has a strong economy due to its global trade influence )

Look up MMT (modern monetary theory). Coming to the US very soon. That and negative interest rates should keep this $hit show rolling along well past 2030.
Your company wants to reach 1 billion in sales so that they can go public and the owners can cash in big time. The more in sales they have, the higher the IPO price.

i personally think we should just pawn Guam we don't use it for civilian use that much and since the creation and advancements of jet aircraft we can launch 52s or f32s from Europe or other ally countries and we just move our navy to japan, think about how much china would give for a island in the pacific since they already build their own

Very interesting....

With the new CEO I'm sure they want to go public. The sales people make more than the CEO/CFO/COO.

One guy sold $3.1 million in 2019 times 24% commission - you do the math. It's insane. We are in the wrong business. :kev::kev::kev:
