Just read a complaint earlier about another fish from live aquaria being ridiculously priced. Smh.... so what they gonna sell them for 10x what they charge from their brick and mortar store Petco!!??! Saw a nice blue headed fairy wrasse male for $49(!) today @ new petco close to me.

Everybody is on the inflation bandwagon even my dang barber…I guess scissors prices went up…just horrible.

Yep, once they know they can get more money with a good excuse, that’s exactly what they will all do. Prices will never go back down. It’s like a shark that smells blood. They don’t just swim the other way and quit. They go in for the kill.

Hmm. prices are not immune to market pressures such as supply and demand.. not saying the genies going back in the bottle, but if no one wants MH lights, there are lots available, the prices will come down. Maybe that’s an oversimplification but just as an example. O&G is exempt. Even if demand dropped and everyone switched to electric, the O&G industry will focus on higher value fossil fuel components used in specialty applications that are not going away (think plastics and lubrication for instance) that’s just opinion though and who knows how long that shift will take.

I’m buying chicken and chromis. The price will only go up.

I saw a movie like this once. A senior accounting executive at a large company loses his mind and locks in a 25 year contract on… printer paper. He gets it super cheap and immediately gets fired for spending millions on paper. His argument? The price will only go up… saved the company millions 😂😂
