I FINALLY was able to find a 9000w generator at Harbor Freight. They just them in stock a day ago and only had two left at the Conroe location. I haven’t seen a single 9000w generator in stock in the entire city of Houston and everywhere all the way down to McAllen for weeks. It looks like a few stores got some in. The one at 610/290 near FJW looks like they have a handful.

There’s already a tropical storm in the Atlantic Ocean. Get your generators now!!! Make sure to call in advance before you drive all the way there.

Gauteeteed it won't put that much out with a load. Enough for fish equipment and home stuff but no AC. Looks like 9k with 7250 running watts... which is closer to 6k in reality with a load. Those cheap motors cant handle the load.

$750 plus tax. Then another $100 for the wheel kit and battery if you want to do electric start.
So why'd you go with this over the Pulsar 12k? Returnability or something?

PulsarG 12KBN has electric start and comes with wheels for ~$850+tax (so about the same amount). Otherwise the Pulsar seems to beat it. It's "rated" higher at 12,000 peak / 9,500 sustained vs 9000/7250.

You've said this a few times, but I've yet to see that in reviews. I've read pretty positive things, my g/f's brother has one of these pulsar's and it powers his full house just fine. Used it during the freeze until he ran out of gas / propane.

A 660w window unit keeps my main living area and master bedroom below 75 in august. I never intended to run the whole home AC.
