so its been a couple months since my tank collapsed and 7 fish died and left only 4 (foxface, cardinal fish, clownfish, and blenny and a crab) i stepped back and went to just having it stand and live and things have happened i broke a lid, have a algea bloom, tank now had a big coat of salt on it( im getting to fixing that, and a ich outbreak (i fixed it without any deaths and i know tahts normal but not for me) all that stepping back is why i havent been on here but to my question is that i want to interduce new fish into my tank but the cardinal which i named lenigrad cause hes bacisly unkillable has been fighting with my clown (well its the most likely reason) i noticed marks and what look like scars on glub glub glub the clown fish and in the past he ripped my fire fish in half, he stays away from the foxface and blenny(lol the blenny kinda is on the top of the tank hierarchy) but i want to interduce new fish in and wnt to start small how will i do that in a way that does end with the fish dead and ripped in half (that was casue of a food incident which was about 30% my fault but i fixed it so that it would never happen again) any help would be greatly appreciated
NOTE

Maybe you should think about rehoming the cardinal or giving it a time out? Sounds uncharacteristically aggressive to me. Shove it in the sump or an acclimation box if you want new fish and watch for signs of aggression. If you suspect bullying of the new fish by the banggai even with adequate food, my opinion would be to trade in at LFS for a different banggai or for store credit. I don’t tolerate bad behavior in my tanks, just what I would do

after he killed the firefish i tried giving him away in anger but no one took him and ive kinda forgiven him i cant shove him in a sump or box since im too broke for those (maybe not the box) but i believe the aggression has gone down but not gone and i think for a new fish it would be bad hes a grayish cardinal with 3 goldish stripes so hes not that type though

I just bought this yesterday on amazon, $10, free shipping. Looks like it’ll work okay. I’m about to sell some damselfish so they’re gonna live in here then I’m gonna use it as a nem box. C1F129B5-2D42-427C-AFB6-26AD87D0212B.png
