Hello Everyone!
I am a Crazy Seahorse Lady. I'm an avid diver new to the reef building community but super excited to be here. I can't wait to be able to share the beauty of the ocean I get to see 60 ft down with family and friends. My husband and I started our journey with a ton of research (read information overload!) about a year ago and we were finally ready to take the plunge when we found a 'rescue tank' that needed some TCL and came with some pretty cool equipment perks. The down side was that we had to go tear it down and that meant taking the livestock with us. While I was over the top to find that the tank held two fantastic clams (I so want a clam & seahorse tank!!) along with other beauties unfortunately at this time we only have 2 10 gallon hospital tanks to take care of these little beauties and as you all know that's just not sustainable.
At this time we have a Toadstool coral, a small zoanthid coral, Picasso Clown (?) approx 2" head to tail, Cleaner Shrimp, Engineer Goby 4", Blue Devil Damsel 1 1/2 - 2", Black Tang 2", File fish 1 1/2 - 2", multiple hermit crabs, one Turbo Snail, and 2 beautiful clams. I'm only guessing but I believe one is a Tridacna squamosa, and the other is a Hippopus. I've posted pics below.
I would really love for these beautiful creatures to go to a loving home so if you are able to take them in please let me know. I am not putting a price on these amazing creatures because making sure they live is more important but if you would like to make a donation to our first reef tank we would certainly appreciate it.
Thank you,
Crazy Seahorse Lady
It's not the depth OF your dive but the depth IN your dive.
