USED FLATWORM EXIT AS INSTRUCTED YESTERDAY, VACUUMED FLATWORMS BEFORE AND AFTER DOSING A TOTAL OF 4 TIMES. STILL A HUGE FLATWORM DIE OFF, DID A 80 GALLON WATER CHANGE AFTER THE FIRST SIX HOURS, CARBON IS RUNNING, WATER VERY CLOUDY , WOKE UP THIS MORNING AND MOST OF MY FISH AND CORALS DEAD, DID ANOTHER WATER CHANGE 70 GALLONS THIS TIME, WATER STILL CLOUDY AND EVERY THING STILL DYING. WHAT CAN I DO TO GET THE WATER STABLE?

TOTAL WATER SYSTEM IS 300 GALLONS

Ugh.. that sounds not great at all. Sorry for your troubles but large WC are the default when nothing else works. Could try chemipure and gfo just in case.

Remove all livestock and place in temporary holding tank. 100% wc and monitor for improvement. This will take time to overcome

Water changes and running carbon. That's the best way to get this disaster under control ASAP.

Rip clean ... the horror stories from flatworm exit... 1/4 dose and leave skimmer cup off when dosing... seems like your O2 levels bottomed with ammonia spike from toxins from flatworms. Which just killed your microbiome and adding to ammonia spike. Test nitrates and ammonia. Focus on those for emergency. Agree with Mittens if you can get your live stock caught and moved.

I had Flatworm Exit crash my tank also. It's just too much for your corals and fish, It's a big spike. W?C and keep removing all those dead flatworms and run that skimmer extra wet!

I WANT TO SAY THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT GAVE ME ADVISE AND OFFERED TO HELP AFTER THE FLATWORM EXIT ORDEAL.
WHAT HURT THE MOST WAS LOOSING ALL OF MY BEAUTIFUL FISH, BUT ALSO 98% OF MY CORALS.
I AM CONSIDERING GETTING RID OF MY TANK AND EQUIPMENT, I WILL KEEP YOU GUYS POSTED IF I DECIDE TO GET RID OF IT.

:( Don't give up. New beginnings can be fun, exciting and rewarding...
Take advantage of the situation to do something AMAZING!
Or, to do something simple, relaxing and low maintenance... ;)

its kinda reef safe.

the chemical itself is reef safe. Its when the flatworms die, they release a toxin that kills stuff. Some stuff die, that causes other stuff to die, then it all start snowballing.
