I just bought and set up the bubble magus dosing kit. I have primed the pump yet it still pulls bubbles and loses its prime. I have siliconed all the connections and still have the same problem. Does anyone have some suggestions or solutions to fixing this? It's across all 3 pumps too.
Thanks for the help.

Here is the set up

Have you tried running it with the dosing container open? Maybe the container is too sealed, doesn't allow you to pull from it.

There is a small gap where they notched out for the tube holder.

are the pumps new? Is the tubing on the pump portion new? Maybe a possible leak there?

Also another thing to try is raising the dosing container higher to see if lowering the Gravity pressure helps fix the problem.

Ill try raising the containers. I primed them this morning to have 0 air bubbles. We shall see tonight.

Everything is brand new, I used the tube that came with it. I put silicon on all of the airline tubing at all of the connections and added it to the existing connections for the containers.

Not sure if putting silicon on connections will make a difference, silicon only sticks to certain materials, other stuff like acrylic and plastic it might not hold a seal on.

Just try it without any sealant, it's very low pressure flow, should work fine just pushing it together the way you have it.

It's the design that is the issue. The tried to copy vertex with their dosing containers but vertex couldn't even get the quality control right and they have the same issue. Not sure how Seaside thought the would be able to do something vertex couldn't.

The line from the supplements to the pump must be completely air tight. With how they directed the pipe through the side of the container it's easy to have a very small pin hole somewhere in that connection and that will cause intake line to the pump to lose syphon. Almost everyone in Houston that bought the Vertex version had the exact same issue. I tried to fix Sergio's set over and over again before he finally gave up and returned them. D2mini went through 2 or 3 sets and they all failed. I think Mark is the only one that has gotten a working set.

If the inside tubing is acrylic, I suggest covering all the connections on the inside of the container with Weldon 16. Then remove the outside fitting and put silicone on the threads and replace. I personally would replace the outside fitting with a john guest fitting but I bet the threads are metric so you'll have to order online to do that.

Thank you very much. Its frustrating to buy a kit and it doesn't work. Last night I only had a few moments to check but it looked like 2 of the 3 had kept the pressure just the alk seemed to have lost it. Ill look into getting some weldon or just breaking down for some new containers. haha
