As for a link. There are a lot of cheap options, especially if you solder your own headers

I got web access to the pi and looked at the interface. It is really cool. I tried with Arduino years ago, but the libraries on some of the projects I looked at we're broken by IDE versions changing. Raspberry pi is much more user-friendly. It was pretty easy to get set up headless with the pi combing 3 different tutorials.

I knew it was some form of Debian distro. The headless version is pretty light. Just add the ssh file and your .conf for wifi login. I still cannot get the hostname.local to work. I am putting in the IP address each time.

Network Manager may be interfering..

so if you do:
systemctl stop NetworkManager.service
systemctl disable NetworkManager.service
that will stop network manager currently and on future boots.

if you want to renable/activate
systemctl enable NetworkManager.service
systemctl start NetworkManager.service

Then you can edit the config files manually:
